Try your public library, reference section, automotive, see if they have a shop manual. Try You Tube, enter year, make, model starter replacement. There are some online shop manuals but you have to pay for those.

Those questions should be asked when you buy the " new " one . If there's any problems you can get RPO codes for your vehicle from the dealer , Your experience may differ
