Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After this ice storm hit.  When I hit 50 mph I get a violent vibration from the back wheels.  Also when I’m driving the backend sways back and forth.  I’m thinking i broke my cv joints or axel driving on this rough ice.

no, in that case you couldn't get to 50 mph, ice is probably hanging on something spinning and acting like a large wheel weight, yikes!

I was thinking that ice might be the culprit. From driving so much I have large chunks of ice all over my car. It is supposed to get above freezing today. I guess Ill knock the ice off and see if that helps.
