Question type: Maintenance & Repair

OK THE DRIVER SEAT IS SOMETIMEY, AND SOMTIMES I LOOSE POWER TILL I SHUT IT OFF AND REMOVE THE KEY. ALSO STEERING WHEEL SWITCH DOESNT MOVE THE WHEEL BUT THE POWER SEAT SWITCH WILL MOVE THE WHEEL IN AND OUT. WHAT COULD BE WRONG. I BOUGHT THE CAR LIKE THIS 6MONTHS AGO. IS THIS A BIG PROBLEM OR IS IT SOMTHING SIMPLE.

King Louie!!!! This is not the type of question that can be answered remotely. You are going to have to have some diagnostic work done by a dealer. It appears there are some safety relays involved here that aren't functioning or resetting properly. The car wants to see that certain systems are go and it appears in your case that it doesn't like what it sees until you open the door and reset the system. That's speculation on my part but you need to get it in front of someone who knows their way around his Vette electronics. Your local dealer is your best bet there but if you have a good relationship with a car audio/alarm place they might have some insight into these systems. Good luck!
