PND2 SLECTOR LIGHT on dash, when in park the 2 is also on?

Probably the shroud is broken , I would think there's only one light with a part that covers the rest .

not broken.... when I shift out of park the second (2) indicator light goes off?

Then it could be the gear selector switch, a live data scan can read the gear selection to see if it is correct and not showing a dual signal.
