2002 Toyota Highlander - Leaking Oil through exhaust

Asked by onewholuvslyfe Sep 28, 2007 at 12:35 PM about the 2002 Toyota Highlander

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2002 Toyota Highlander that is smoking oil through the exhaust.  The car only smokes upon start after it has gotten cold.  I have already had the valves fixed twice and the car still smokes.  Could there be another problem?

I would also examine the valve seals. This is the single item that would be the biggest contributor to buring oil in all situations.
