should I be able to remove the ignition key with the switch in accessory

Would it possibly be a bad ignition switch?

You shouldn't be able to remove the key. I have been driving my '95 Camry for years like that. I can start mine, and remove the key. As long is it starts, I wouldn't spend the money for a new switch.
