Why my break pedal hits the floor and barley stops

Asked by Dylan Jan 08, 2014 at 02:40 PM about the 2006 Toyota Corolla

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I kno my pads are low/gone in the front but there's no
grinding on the rotars. So is it the break line? Or something
else maybe?

When my pads were pretty much gone they would grind on the rotars but then I heard a clunk and my pedal hit the floor with little to no pressure

get your lines bled that's the only other thing besides just the ware on your pads and I would replace those asap so you don't have to replace the rotors as well....

check your brake lines for leaks and bleed the air out.
