Question type: Car Customization

id like to put a set of 8x15 inch wheels and 225/75 tires on my 1991 s10 truck. Im concerned that the wheels may be too wide and will rub when turning. I also plan on dropping the truck 3-4 inches and wondering if the wheel tire combination will fit inside the wheel wells. Does anyone have any answers.

yes 15x8 look good just drop it 3 inches with 3 inch drop springs on front, dont heat or cut them.i got a 98 S10 droped 4 inches,to low, with 15x8 rallys and 255-50 tires, dont rub at all.

When you say, "to low" do you mean that a 4 inch drop is "to low" ? Do they rub when turning?

Yes a 4 inch drop is to low,it will have no give to it,will ride like a horse and buggy, the 3 inch drop will look great.correction on my last post, mine has 255-60 15,not 255-50,no they dont rub.will post a pic of mine in my garage tomorrow.just click on my nane, will take you right to it.
