Transmission for 92 Chevy Cheyenne

Will a 94 Chevy tranny fit into a 92
Chevy Cheyenne gas, 2wd, 350
gas engine?

Have the original rebuilt by a good shop , don't go cheap . Replacing an old worn tranny with an old worn tranny makes little sense

If the tags on both transmissions match exactly it should work. Both are OBD I. You can't go any newer than a '94 model though. 1995 could be either OBD I or OBD II so stay away from them like the plague, and 1996 and newer are definitely OBD II. Hope that helps! Jim
