Sounds like the oil pump may be taking a crap.... hook up a mechanical gauge to the oil pressure sending unit hole and read from there at idle....... may be to late if it is making noise though

My 02 Chevy S10 will stay a little below 40 and when I give it has it will go up and go down and go to 0 and it will run just fine

Chevy please help i have a 89 s10 with a 4.3 engine when i start it up it idles fine but then after it idles for a bit it idles down and makes a squirting/hissing noise on the left side of the engine 3 Answers

I have 90 Chevy s10,4.3L, I am having fuel problems, it will start up and run but I have to continually pump the gas pedal, if I try to hold the gas down the engine boggs down and dies, 4 Answers

If I pump the pedal the truck will stay running and even drive (unless is try going up a hill) then it just slows down , it doesn't idle without fuel pedal pumping either

Was rolling in 5th gear going 60, heard aloud screeching noise and it threw us forward in the seat and slowed it immediately to about 40.I pulled off to the side of the road and smoke was coming from under the truck.I looked around and couldn't see anything visibly wrong.I started it up again just fine and started rolling in 1st gear, then I tried to shift to 2nd the truck just stopped and wouldn't go into any gear.At this point the truck will start but when I let the clutch out, it dies(in neutral). Had to remove my drive shaft to be towed on towrope because it wouldn't roll smooth in neutral. When the engine is running now I don't feel any vibration through the gearshift anymore like how I used to before it broke down. What could it be? 3 Answers
