truck wont crank

I have a 97 chevy Silverado 5.0 c1500.  It won't
crank. It has brand new fuel pump, intake gasket,  
starter and I put it on a machine and it said crank
shaft position sensor. Bought brand new sensor
and it still wont crank. Help! !!

Battery terminals corroded, posts clamps loose, dead battery, broken pos or neg wire in jacket, Alternator not engaging. I need implicit details to feel what I cannot test.
