Are there different fuel pressure
check gauge tools for fuel injected
versus carbureted engines?

Yes absolutely. There are low pressure testers and then there are high pressure testers. You can use a low pressure tester on a high pressure system as it will blow up, if you use a high pressure tester on a low pressure system it most likely won’t give you a reading. Plus there are some systems out there that you will need to make fittings for the tester to operate as the kit will not have the correct accessories.

There's such a difference between fuel pressure between carbureted engines and injected engines, that for accuracy, you should use different gauges to check pressure. Carburetors run about six psi, so a wide range will show about zero to ten. Injectors run about forty to sixty, so a gauge will show about zero to 100. A lot of people just get a zero to 100 gauge, but that's tough to read the low pressure for carburetors.
