I have a 98 chevy s10. It has trouble getting over 35mph what would cause that? Just started doing this a couple days ago. No problems before this

Sounds like you need a compression test... Other things to check.... Trans shifting ok ..... Gas starved from injectors .... Emergency Brake Off ... "Someone forgot to take off the Emergency Brake and had this problem." ..... Hope this helps you some. Let us know !
