So I have a 95 k1500 and have replaced my fuel pump like 9 times.. kept thinking I was trying them. Well it turns out that GM has a safety feature that if the fuel pressure drops then it cuts off the engine. (It assumes you wrecked and doesn't want you to blow up.) They also did this with the oil pressure sensor switch. On my truck, it is located behind/below the distributor. Check yours, take the plug and put a small wire (earring size diameter) in the middle hole and the one to the left.
