Question type: Car Customization

I am about to purchase a 2005 GT, i am going to paint it candy apple red(or some othr variant) and put 20" black bullitt rims on it.

How low can the car be without rubbing issues?

and what brand of catback sounds the best on the stock engine?

THANX

sounds like your about to ruin a good car, those rims will look like crap while they are new, but too each their own but care full of curbs/potholes, they will ruin them easily, and be prepared for a car that handles, stops, and accelerates slower. and to prevent rubbing you have to make sure you get proper back spacing, and proper tire selection, try to keep the tire outside detentions as close to stock as possible to avoid as much trouble as you can. and invest in kidney pads :P

Increase the stock rim size no greater then 2" then use the standard tire conversion formula. If you do it that way, you should have no clearance issues. If you go more than 2" or do the computations wrong, you'll have tire clearance problems.

I was excited visualizing this hot car but wheel spacers are now outlawed in every store and tire shop because they don't work well, they slip and the gentlemen above are correct, you will ruin the car and yeah........the 19" normal size tire is good enough, you will still look tough and impressive as all get out with 19's..........no to the 20" no no no
