Pse how are gears D4,D3 e.t.c. selected during drive

I not understand Your question . In owner manuals they right down all system of shifting gears . When You drive its posibleuse only one type of positions (D4 ,D3,etc. ) because if You change gears manualy You force actual position of valves and this can damage transmision
