we have a 2007 2500 hd chevy silverado ,how heavy of a truck camper can it carry?

you don't specify if it is a crew or ext. or reg. cab, but a good guideline would be around 3000 lbs. (loaded, not empty)- payload capacity is around 3300 lbs total- if you are going to tow a trailer too, deduct 10% of the trailer weight from that amount (example: 3500 lb. boat =350 lbs. off = 2650 camper) I hope this helps.
