I have a 2007 Colorado four wheel drive. Recently the push buttons wont go into 4wd. Any suggestions?? 4wd is used very rarely.

I have a 2007 Colorado 4wd; standard shift transmission.  Lately the four wheel drive will not engage.  Four wheel drive is used
very rarely.  Any suggestions???
