Question type: General

I recently purchased a 2007 ford focus se and
want to know what are the best winter tires for the
car.   We get a lot of snow but I am more
concerned about black ice on the hwy.   Can
anyone tell me what to buy

The best winter tires are the Finnish brands like the Nokian Hakkapeliitta R2. These tires are for cold and ice only, not for dry summer roads. It does depend on the type of driving you do but studded tires might be what you want if they are legal in your area.

I love the Nokkian Hakkapeliitta tires. They wear rapidly on dry pavement.
