AOD 4 speed transmission AUTOMATIC? both are AOD series check the coding labels on the transmission both EECIV computer. '91 Thunderbird is a fox platform too should be the same.

Yes both automatic thank you so much what can I google to obtain a real live picture to compare my transmission to what will be sold to me or should I go based simply off the labels

The tag is ideal take a photo of the label / tag if possible make sure the numbers match exactly, also check the warranty and mileage warranty of the "new" transmission if its sourced (salvage) or from a second hand vehicle (as still place) check the odometer reading on the vehicle to view miles on the transmission , the lower the better.
