help with wiring diagram

Asked by cebja Dec 29, 2006 at 12:42 PM about the 1971 Ford Mustang

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Have 1971 Mustang without wiring, or regulator. I have Chiltons manual, but diagram shows no regulator on this year, but clearly on the firewall it had one.
Can you recommend who to talk to or something.
Thanks C...

Hello cebja-- I have learned over the years in the car business that the only guys who have all the answers are all working behind the parts counter. Find a good counterman and he can tell you what you want to know right off the top of his head. He may have a computer in front of him, but I think that's just for show or in case he forgets where to put the decimal point on a part number. If you can't find that special guy in person there are several good sights online and all have toll free numbers. For example, try http://www.mustangpartshouse.com/ or http://johnsmustang.com/. If you don't find a friendly ear there, Google list hundreds of places where you might try. Good luck from Bovan.

Hi cebja ... As luck would have it I just had an exceptional conversation with Pat at Mid-Country Mustang in Uwchland, PA on another Mustang question. If there's an answer he'll know it. Call him toll-free at 800.358.8081. I know this will help!
