HOw can I find a value on my 1976 Camaro?

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I have a Chevrolet Camaro Sport - V8 which I have owned since new (I hae the window stickers, Camaro book/pamphlet for that year which features my Camaro on the cover (Color is Firethorn Metallic). It has rally wheels, It has between 90,000 and 91,000 miles on it. I had it repainted once (same color as original) It has  the 305-2 BBL V8 engine. I also have the Colorado temporary registration plate from George Irwin Chevrolet when I purchased it on 2/17/1976. The headliner is loose and it is leaking transmission fluid. Otherwise, I think it's in good shape. I drive it only about once a month just to make sure it's still running good. It has been garaged almost constantly since 1983. Any ideas of where I can get an estimate/appraisal? I'm seriously considering selling her to someone who will love her and take care of her.

with the economy the way it is you're not going to get nearly as much money as you would have a year or two ago. Assuming that the headliner and trans fluid leak are the only two things wrong then you probably have about a $6-10,000 car. The fact that it's a Rally Sport and not a Z28 and has a 305 and not a 350 hurts your value. The fact that it's a one owner car will help you especially if you have documentation on maintenance. As far as getting an appraisal I don't know. I've restored my camaros for myself with no intention of selling so I don't know anything about getting it appraised. Good luck and like i said I think you have a 6-10,000 car. 2nd gens are starting to go up in value but they're still not anywhere near the 1st gens
