Help with dead battery.

Asked by GuruDD7BMT Feb 21, 2024 at 01:34 PM about the 2007 Chevrolet Corvette

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I store my corvette in a garage. I unfortunately let the battery go dead. My
problem is I can't open the door so I can open the hood so I can charge the
battery.
I'm not a mechanical genius so I'm hoping someone has an idea to solve my
issue. Thanks

If you can reach the starter from under neath you can get another battery and hook a + jumper to the fat starter wire and ground the other . This may power things up so you can get in

That's how it's been done forever. Get a positive jumper cable to a hot post, the hot starter post is usually the most convenient, and the negative to a ground. I've always used another car to power this. It's not as difficult as you might imagine.
