he 1988 Chevy Camaro IROC-Z has a theoretical Top Speed of 149 mph. The RS is 136, But I do believe both models were governed at 126 mph.

My source was Edmunds, usually reliable information..I do believe you, Michael not disputing what you said. Maybe I'm just old there Jim, but to me that's fast!

Ive got a 94 LT1....................much faster........no governor

No worries David ... I used the RPO from 1988 which was what GM published as the performance data. @ Jim ... Yes for sure and handles much better also ! I am an old fart too and love the Carbs, TPI etc.. You tune a car with a screwdriver not a computer ;) Had a '88 IROC-Z, fun car!

Not really sure how fast my 85 z28 is. Don't really trust the old speedometer. But I am an old fart too and agree with David and Michael. It is plenty fast and fun to drive.

Had to throw this in; Race cars don't have speedo's ;)
