I want to buy a 4wd Toyota Pick Up . I see many "rebuilt" are they reliable (Usually) or would you stay away from a rebuilt' engine?

First confirm if the engine is rebuilt or if the entire vehicle was rebuilt from salvage. I'd stay away from a rebuilt from salvage but a proper engine rebuild can be ok. See if there is a warranty offered on the rebuilt engine.
