Battery not charging because of age 60 months / 5 years they tend to fail, have it tested 12.6 volts and a load test based on cranking amp hours. It can also be loose or corroded terminals connections on the battery preventing it from charging or cranking, next the alternator may have stopped functioning,(100,000 miles there tired) letting the battery discharge and stalling the car out then only a click when you try and restart. Test the alternator should be putting out 13.8 - 14.2 range OK use a digital volt ohm meter. IF the battery really is fully charged inspect the positive battery connection at the starter along the smaller wires make sure there clean and tight where they attach to the starter solenoid. Finally a slight tap on the starter can sometimes detect a bad starter. Ann Arbor,MI

Also, I have run into that click and I thought the starter was bad and discovered a starter relay that was the culprit. I would check that also.
