Check Engine and VSC lights?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Check Engine and VSC lights came on today. (I don't know if this is related: I lightly
rear ended someone this morning, not enough that there was any physical damage on the
car or on his car, But I've driven the car twice since then and the second time was when
the lights came on, so is it possible they're unrelated?) I don't know what they mean I
need to do, I'm not a car person by any means. I just want to know what that means I
have to do, or what could have caused it. Help please.

Check eng light on po306 in stalled new coil and came back on again

I have Toyota Avalon limited and has vsc and engine sign on and Trac Off light. What can I do. Julius

Unhook negative battery cable. Wait 60 seconds, hook back up.
