130k isnt a lot of miles... it's a 2000 not a 1979. make sure everything is good with the car. listen for clunking sounds or loose steering. the mileage on the suspension is what i'd be more worried about than the motor. those 4.2s hold on for a while. but still look for leaks and ask if the timing belt has been changed. thats not something you're going to want to pay for. try to talk them down on the price but fairl market value is still up around 9k.

i bought the 2001 4.2 A6 Q sport in 08 with 42k on it.. red on tan and i love this car yes the timing belt was $$$ and iv had prob with the low pro tires and there not cheap and neither is gas on the V8 but did i mention i love this very fast safe smooth quiet fat car..my A6 has the five spoke polishd 17s and it is hottttt...... Audi Fan....
