good day my Audi A4 2.0 2001, it got a noise in the top some say it camshaft n other ppl say it tepeks so wt might be the noise coz, n secondly the sensor on the bck of the top comes out smoke as if its burning then the car looses power turn off the i need to start it again o wait till its cool dwn

can be lifters, and secondly..... there mustn't come any smoke from any sensor, so have it check out and replace

ok will send it to be checked. so someone was saying i should buy a new top for the noisy thing so is it necessarily to change the top or i should only buy the lifters

1998 audi a4 1.8t on the driver side where the oil filter srews into the whole unit what it called i was told that it is my oil cooler but it is lecking oil from the top of the part and it only does it when the car is running it does have hoses that connet to it 2 Answers

It the part where the oil temp switch srews into it and it is almost to the bottom of the engine
