i got a pontiac grand am 92 . my turn flashes do not FLASH ! only the hazard flash

the flasher for your model GA is behind the glove box,just drop it.open it,will see 2 rubber holds on each side push them up glove box will drop down,you got acc to relays,on my wifes 00 GAGT the flashers and turn signals work off the same switch,but since your flashers work and turn signals dont,they on 2 different circuts,yours is a turn signal flasher.

To me, without being able to be there to check the car in person, it sounds like there's a problem in the switch in the steering column that you hit to make the turn signals come on. Possibly a wire or the switch itself is bad.
