where is the transmission solenoid located

car feels like its going in gear but want move on any gear but reverse could that be the solenoid

yes I did try all gears I really wanted to make sure if that's wat it was because I didn't want to buy a transmission

My transmission takes off ok but won't shift when trying to speed up
