In the process of removing an airbag from a 1997 Pontiac Sunfire I realize that one of the bolts behind the steering wheel is stripped it's a 10 mm nuts into some sort of pressure screw that locksthe horn/airbag into place. How do I remove this stripped steering wheel bolt?

Might try getting a stripped nut/bolt removal set. They work with your ratchet. Looks a lot like regular sockets but as you try to loosen the bolt it tightens down and grips the bolt. Does not matter how bad it's stripped these will still grip and remove them. Your local auto parts or hardware store aught to have them.
