Why won't my car move when in drive? Changed the transmission fluid and it now moves in everything but drive. 1999 Grand Prix

When driving my car I noticed it
skidding after sitting at a street light
a few times then when I got home
and shifted it into reverse and back
into drive it wouldn't move.

Which fluids should we check? I'm absolutely clueless about cars and have no idea what fluids to check

You said you changed the transmission fluid. Check its level. If low it can cause this sort of issue. Check it with car running and in park. Unless otherwise stated on your dipstick.
