Why is smoke coming from under my hood.

Asked by Thekingjones May 07, 2016 at 09:38 PM about the 1999 Pontiac Firebird

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I drove my 1999 firebird home and noticed the oil pressure was high. I got
home and parked it, then I got in it to run to the store. On my way back I
noticed smoke billowing out from under the hood. What could this be? I also
opened the hood and it looked like water from the radiator had spilled
everywhere.

Possibly you have a broken radiator hose or heater hose.

Did you check your oil you might have low oil ? Yeah sounds like you have a coolant leak somewhere check all your hoses and see if it is leaking, start the engine up and see if it's spraying out somewhere?
