how do you get brakes back after removing lines from block

Not totally sure what you're asking, but if you've had your brake system apart to replace or repair something there will be air in the system now which needs to be bled out. Google "how to bleed brake system" and I'm sure some helpful vids will come up. As long as this remains undone you will have poor, if any brakes and your car is unsafe to drive.
