Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello everyone,
I am stuck. My o4 grand prix will not start. It cranks well, the battery is good, I have checked all the fuses and relays, the fuel pump has power and is working. However, it has no spark at the plugs and the plugs are dry despite several attempts to start it unsuccessfully. I'm irked because it came out of nowhere. I actually was installing a new wiper transmission/linkage yesterday and the car started fine. Went out this morning and no joy. I did have the neutral/park switch replaced a few months ago because of a hard starting issue, but it's been fine since then. Any ideas would be great.

Check/tried:
All related fuses/relays
Fuel pump
Battery and terminal connections
Plugs are old but work (tested separate from vehicle)

if the guy who did your switch is no electrical genius, i suspect that may have something to do with it. that's a rubber mounted engine... have you checked the engine ground? if the engine isn't properly grounded, not only would you have no spark but your injectors wouldn't open, explaining your dry plugs.

2 weeks ago I was driving and my car just quit. Still had lights and all that and it would crank but it wouldn't fire. Had it towed to a garage where he hooked it up to the computer and it was something called an IMRC something to do with the air fuel mixture. He said once that sensor goes it won't open and the car just won't start. My car never threw a code on the dash it just stopped running. I don't think it's a ground wire issue. If it was you would have noticed it right away. Probably just a sensor somewhere messing things up.
