You need to be towed to your local GM Dealer for repairs. There's no way around it! Hope that helps! Jim

No tow needed at all. Under steering wheel, find the 3 wires going to ignition. White, black. Yellow. Leave white alone. Cut both black and yellow. Wire both blacks to the yellow running away from ignition. Black tape it. Start your car. Do this also under glove box. Remove plastic panel. A computer box is there. Disconnect middle wire clip. It's labeled with numbers. Find pin 6. Top and bottom. Should be yellow and black. Use yellow from wire clip to the black wire. Relearn and start your car. Add a resistor compatible to 2.20 ohms, security light will even go off but not needed to crank. And this is permanent. And no tow needed. Xo

Must add you wire either spot but you only need one or the other. Not both.
