Grand Prix Brake Clips squealing but they are brand new

Asked by Guru1WHC8 Aug 27, 2019 at 01:01 PM about the 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 04 Grand Prix gt and me and my father
replaced the front brakes and rotors. Now the
brake clips rub on something that we can’t find.
We’ve tried grinding them a little and it is still very
loud. It’ll go away once going straight but even a
little turn and it’ll make the noise. It’s coming from
the front left one mostly but it does sometimes do
it on the front passenger side also. Please help me
if you can.
