Driver door

driver door will not open. When I lift the
handle from the outside or inside it
does not feel like it is even connected
to anything.

I'm having the same issue. Door won't open either way and it keeps auto locking. also the key won't turn properly. Been trying to fix it myself but no go. Taken off as much of the panel as I can and been fiddling with everything, using crc and I've come to the conclusion that it's either the handle or the lock. I can't get past the metal plate under the panel though and it's hard to properly see in where the handle/keyhole spots are. Any suggestions?
