Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2004 Pontiac Grand Am does not turn over
when I turn the key on

Make sure the battery has a good connection to the car. See if the battery is dead. Turning on your headlights is a good indicator of that. It's either your battery is bad or your car is in gear and not in park of neutral.
