Asked by tabitha Nov 12, 2021 at 08:32 AM about the 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2006 pontiac grand prix and I seem to keep losing
power while driving all power electrical and engine power. I
checked my fuses and relays and still can't seem to find the
problem.

Have you load tested your battery? Have you scanned for trouble codes? Are the spark plugs in reasonably good shape. It's easy to forget about them these days. That's the first three things that I would do. After that, address the codes, if there are any. Might be as simple as poor electrical connections in the wiring harness. I've had a few things fixed just by cleaning and tightening connections. It's an old car and the electrical system does tend to break down.
