Your model has an electric power steering, no fluid needed.

BTW there is a recall for G6's with electric power steering boost: http://www.autoblog.com/2015/02/15/gm-chevy-malibu-pontiac-g6-power-steering-recall/

I have a 2008 Pontiac G6 and the wheel gets very hard to turn and sometimes it doesn't what can I do to fix it.
