will a cold air intake for the 2005 fit the 2006 model year the exact same like if i was to add an injen set?

Can't see there being any difference in the 05 and 06. There were no changes to the vehicle. Just to be sure I would give a quick call to the service desk at your local Pontiac dealer. They would be able to tell you.

Do not get the Injen CAI. It uses hard mounts that cannot take the engine's natural front to back sway as it's operating and will eventually tear itself free from the mounting points. Visit DoctorSpeed.com and get one from there. Custom created and cheaper.
