Asked by Denise Jan 09, 2024 at 04:34 PM about the 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I took my 2023 santa fe in for the  15k service which consisted of an oil change
and tire rotation. after leaving dealership less than 2 miles, all traction and
collision lights and engine light came on and vehicle siezed up going through an
intersection. dealer said it was caused by a wheel speed sensor. Ca a tire
rotation cause damage to the wheel speed sensor?

Since this is a brand new vehicle that was serviced by the dealer and is still under warranty they need to fix it for free. But to answer your question, yes it can if the wheels are not removed and reinstalled correctly. Hope that helps! Jim
