how do you remove water from cylinders

Asked by ziggys125 Jul 28, 2007 at 01:53 PM about the 1994 Nissan Pathfinder

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

ny kids took 1994 nissan pathfinder 4 wheeling through water.  They got water into the cylinders.  The engine cranks, but there seems to be no spark.  I took plugs out, sprayed  WD40 into cylinders, and cranked engine without plugs.  Now what do I do?

Before or after you kill your kids? What about the distributor and roatry cap...did you check them for water damage? Wiring to both?
