97 Nissan truck had t have alot of work to pass inspection to find out this year
truck won't pass without code.  I had driven over 1000 miles and it was
running great.  Got in yesterday drove down road it cut off.  It would start but
acted like fuel wasn't getting to engine changed filter and it didn't make
change.  Could it be fuel pump?

Get a fuel pressure gauge and check, some auto parts places rent them or even loan them out.

I have an 87 D21 Nissan truck it will start and run but just a second then stop firing you can leave it over night and it will crank again. I have changed the coil got the same thing.
