A few places to start - check fuel filter - air idle control valve (take off + clean) check for vacuum leaks from your PCV and/or EGR valve. Take out and clean PCV valve (you should here it clicking freely if you shake it near your ear). Clear your MAP or MAF sensor with electrical cleaner. Check throttle body, and clean if needed.
