how can I find TDC on the compression stroke if I have the heads removed?

2000 xterra replacing heads new heads are remans with cams and valves already in them i have removed the old heads and need to know how to set everything so it will all be right.

TDC on Nissan 4 cylinder engines is generally the second notch on the drive pulley, counting from the left. However, it's best to consult a shop manual. If that's not available, go to www.nissanforums.com and ask there.
