After disconnecting battery and reconnecting in about 4 hours all of the interior functions like clock, door locks, garage door opener etc. will now not work until the key is turn to the on position.

It may be that you just need to drive the car so everything can relearn, and be stored back into memory.

Then you would have to go to the dealer for reprogramming. Your suppose to use a memory saver when disconnecting the battery.
