where is oil filter located on lexus es350

Hi, If I'm not mistaken, the ES 350's oil filter is contained in a cylindrical metal housing near the oil pan. I'm think it's on the passenger side. You'll need to take out the bolt at the bottom of the housing and it should come out––the oil filter will be inside. It's a good idea to replace the o-ring that seals the housing before you reassemble. Best of luck, and remember that whatever you have to go through to get the thing out is worth the $150 you aren't paying a Lexus dealer.

That was correct but they moved it in 2016 to the top of the block near the radiator in a very convenient place. Having just bought a 2019, they moved it again and since i can’t see it from above, it must be below again in a difficult place to access.
